THE ORGANISATION

 

The Foundation has its offices in East London.

 

The Small Projects Foundation is an accredited training provider to the Health and Welfare SETA (HWSETA) and is able to operate in most regions of South Africa through its mobile staff, and associate organisations.

 

The Small Projects Foundation is a community development and training trust which is tax exempt under Section 10(1)F and is registered for VAT.

 

The Small Projects Foundation is a registered organisation with a fundraising number (No. 09 900671 0006) issued by the Director of Fundraising and is also registered as a Non Profit Organisation (No. 000-319 NPO), as well as a Section 18A (PBO 18/11/137791).

 

The Small Projects Foundation is a registered Institutional and Social Development Consultant with the Departments of Water Affairs and Forestry and Public Works.

 

The Organisation is structured so as to maintain direct project control by the communities, funders and the Foundation.

 

Through networked communication, financial and training systems, and a knowledge creating methodology we bring the collective resources of the organisation, its beneficiaries and its partners to a specific project.

 

The Organisation brings the specific core competencies of project innovation, project management, social marketing and training skills to each specific request.

The organisations operate on a request basis.

 

The Small Projects Foundation offers the full spectrum of services in terms of project management of community-driven projects that include the following:

b) Materials Purchasing

c) Sub-Contractor Training and Remuneration.

d) Financial Management and Administration.

e) Capacity Building.

f) Monitoring and Reporting.

g) Evaluation.

 

The Small Projects Foundation is accredited as a training agent for the “One-Up” Business Skills Training Programme by the Informal Business Training Trust.

 

The Foundation’s auditors are Price Waterhouse Coopers, East London.
