Sanitary Dignity Campaign Programme

July 2015 | EC Office of The Premier

Our campaign was aimed at ensuring girl children remain in school even during their menstrual cycle, since research has shown that that many girls in the rural Eastern Cape do not attend school classes during the days of their menstrual cycle.

“Campaign to mobilize various stakeholders to join hands and partner with the Office of the Premier on the Rights of the Child to address sexual and reproductive health issues”.

We were requested by the Office of the Premier to provide sanitary towels to over 500 girl learners who attended the event.

The sanitary pads were donated by Johnson and Johnson.
